This initiative equips young people, farmers, women and communities with knowledge and practical skills to understand and respond to climate change. The initiative promotes climate smart agriculture, environmental conservation, sustainable livelihoods, climate education and youth led solutions. We create opportunities for communities to move from awareness to action by developing locally relevant responses to climate related challenges.

How It Works
To strengthen community resilience to climate change by empowering young people and vulnerable communities with the knowledge, skills and opportunities needed to take meaningful climate action.
We use a youth-led and community-based approach that combines climate education, practical training, sustainable agriculture, environmental awareness, leadership development and community action. We support participants to identify local climate challenges, develop practical solutions and work together to implement initiatives that contribute to environmental sustainability and resilient livelihoods.
The initiative increases climate awareness and strengthens the capacity of young people and communities to respond to climate related challenges. Through climate-smart agriculture, environmental action and youth leadership, PLG helps communities adopt more sustainable practices while creating opportunities for young people to become active agents of climate change solutions.
